Overheating in Dwellings
The Building Research Establishment hs recently produced two publications on Over heating in Dwellings:
The Guidance
This defines the characteristics of excess heat, considers the potential for harm arising from excess heat and the associated health impacts. It also identifies the causes of excess heat and potential preventative measures. An accompanying assessment protocol is available in order to provide a process to be used to determine the seriousness of a potential threat to health from exposure to high temperatures within a dwelling.
