Previously, only HMOs and properties within Nottingham City Council boundaries (irrespective of size) had to provide DASH with a satisfactory Electrical Inspection Condition Report (EICR) dated within the last five years. However, the law around EICRs is changing and from 1^st July 2020, a satisfactory EICR must be obtained for ALL new tenancies, and from 1^st July 2021 for ALL existing tenancies irrespective of the size and occupancy of the property.
