South Kesteven are offering assistance to owners of empty properties to help them bring them back into use. The financial assistance is available to help landlords bring the properties up to the decent homes standard and back into use for the private rental market.

Properties that have been empty for at least 6 months may qualify for the assistance which could be used, for example, to install new, more efficient heating systems or to upgrade the electrical systems to comply with current standards.

The financial assistance is a discretionary scheme and is available on a first come first served basis.  The maximum grant available is £5000 per property.
