Support for victims of domestic abuse during Covid-19
Support for victims of domestic abuse during Covid-19
During these exceptional times the Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Partnership would like to make all those who work in housing aware that support is still available for those who are being abused and those who are choosing to abuse, even during lockdown and with the Covid-19 restrictions that will still be in place after lockdown is lifted.
During the 16 days of the action campaign which started on the 24th November, the partnership have been promoting the support available in line with National and local Domestic Homicide Review findings regarding the fact that those being abused by an abusive partner or ex-partner are most vulnerable when they flee and move out of an abusive household.
So it is nevermore so important to inform all regarding the support and awareness of domestic abuse at these times.
Support is available for those being abused:
- Locally via EDAN Lincs https://edanlincs.org.uk/ or by ringing 01522 510041
- Nationally via National Domestic Violence Helpline https://www.nationaldahelpline.org.uk/ 0808 2000 247
