West Lindsey District Council is hosting an information event for landlords and tenants to help them understand the upcoming changes to legislation which comes into effect at the beginning of next month.

The Renters Rights Act brings in a wide range of new requirements for landlords on May 1, 2026, alongside strengthened protections for tenants.

It aims to significantly improve standards across the private rented sector.

The event will take place on Tuesday April 28, between 12pm and 2pm, where attendees will be able to learn more about the changes and ask questions directly to representatives from DASH (Decent and Safe Homes),  EMPO, and West Lindsey District Council officers.
