Northampton Borough Council’s new on-line HMO application service is now available on their website  at https://www.northampton.gov.uk/info/200277/private-housing/1288/houses-in-multiple-occupation-hmos/4   

All HMO licence applications within the borough are to be completed on-line.

The new Additional Licensing Scheme comes into effect from 1st February 2020.  From the 13th January 2020 the council will also be accepting on-line applications for Additional HMO licences.  There will be an extra discount of £200 for the first 150 completed and duly made additional HMO applications that are received under the new scheme.
