The Government have released their Renters' Rights Bill this week which will be making its way through Parliament over the coming months.

The bill proposes to:

• End Section 21 "no fault" evictions
• Apply the Decent Homes Standard and Awaab's Law to the private rented sector
• Introduce a new Private Rented Sector Landlord Ombudsman
• Create a Private Rented Sector Database
• Reform Assured Shorthold Tenancies
